Tunnel Vanish - Coin Sleight

The tunnel vanish is a classic coin sleight, it appears as follows:

A coin is pushed into the left fist and then receives a final push with the right index finger. The left hand is then opened palm up, , and displayed as empty. The coin seems to have disappeared.

How the Tunnel Vanish Works:

tunnel vanish fig. ADone smoothly this coin sleight is great, even done up close. First, as in Fig. A, hold your left hand in a very loose fist. Take the coin in your right index finger and thumb -- place the coin into the gap of your left hand as in the diagram.

Next move your hands into a position mimicking Fig. B. Your left hand becomes a tighter fist and your right thumb pushes the coin through secretly into the tips the last few fingers of your right hand.

Palm the coin in the right hand smoothly, then appear to give the coin a final poke with your right index finger. Now turn your left palm up and open it up to show your audience that the coin has disappeared.
